Today we have been productive and finally putting some motion to our plan for this project. We had a little discussion on where we should first start, then we looked back on our storyboard and decided we needed to go to the library. We then went outside an took some photos of the entrance as well as the "City of Bristol" sign, then proceeded to go inside and take a few of the main lobby and stairs.

After that, we then moved back up to the 6th floor were both Art&Design is and our Creative Media courses are located. We then went into the Art&Design department and took a few photos of the corridors leading up to a classroom with fellow students inside working on their project as well. As soon as we did this, we then went to the corridor of our course (Creative Media) and pretty much did the same things as we did in the other courses corridor!

Next time we come into college to continue this project, we aim to achieve some recordings around the place (probably in the same locations where we took some photos and maybe a few places that we didn't get to visit).

Picking a theme song 
For the film I decided to choose a selection of songs and ask the group which one would seem more appropriate for the type of mood of the film. However we may face problems with Copyright. But because the film is for Educational purposes and the songs being appropriate and not having offensive lyrics, we might be ok.

What I am going to do is take 4 songs and ask members of the group which one they prefer to get a fair decision on what to use.

I also think that the first theme song is the one I should use for our group project. Because it its with the mood of the video and feels welcoming.
We've all decided to get the filming out of the way first, then afterwards we will consider doing a timelaspe of the college as well. We will ask our tutor Steve Tunn for the cameras and the equipment that we need for this project. We've already got a storyboard and have a rough idea of what we are going to do, it is just the matte of getting the equipment and start filming and requiring the content we need for out project.
Our roles have been narrowed down to this. Phoebe is going to be doing the photography and the timelapse for us (which will be great), Mitch will be doing the editing after we've got all of our content captured and stored and finally me and Gabe will do half and half on filming different things on our project. We've all agreed on our roles and we're happy with them also!
We made a story board as a group to get an idea on how our short film is going to look visually and what filming techniques and elements we are going to use and the structure of the films layout.
